Project One of us in the place

During the years as a Principal ,I think that the most meaningful and enthusiastic trip for my students, teachers  and families is the one departing from their specific interests and needs and when you are sure to find a qualified availability of Principals and teachers who work in the town chosen for the trip.

A trip standardized and proposed by agencies or through internet, without human and institutional contact, or the detailed visit of a site and a monument, or  the taste of a sweet and a typical product in the specific laboratory or farm, it is probably one of the innumerable occasions of relaxation and fun for  students and one of the school ritual activities  , but not certainly a school unrepeatable event  to remember and to tell.

It is  usual to verify among the students a  confusion on the meaning of  different initiatives: trips, cultural exchanges, educational trips, stages, apprenticeship, etc.

So that every of these different activities  can have a sense and a spin-off  in didactic activity,  it needs that is programmed and organized following the own specificity.

I have been working with friends and colleagues  in my town to the creation of an organized, dynamic and multidisciplinary structure  coordinated by a professional who is at the same time a technician and an expert of the guardianship, the management and improvement of cultural goods with the purpose  to give  answers to these school new needs. 

It is a laboratory of planning and services for engineering and cultural goods called INGEGNICULTURA .

Together we are setting the  following objectives:

  • To stimulate the cultural and social growth of the southeast territory and its hinterland through relationships between people, corporate bodies, associations, firms
  • To involve the didactic realities through an active presence on the territory with the predisposition of thematic itineraries  transforming the study  in art.
  • To develop in the ragusano territory  cultural, naturalistic and oenogastronomic journeys, involving the sector  operators 
  • To give value to the small villages creating a link with the Contea town to make the hidden places of our territory accessible to a great number  of visitors
  • To make the guest protagonist in the itinerary construction 
  • To make every operator of the place  protagonist and actor  involving him through all demonstrations and events .

The innovative idea is represented by :

  • Creation of school structured  itineraries ,organized for sectors so that a visitor has an easy and rich visit of contents
  • To prepare didactic laboratories inside museums and archaeological areas ,  parks, natural reserves and masserie and to suggest activities like theatrical dramas, testing archaeology, role plays, orienteering, laboratory activities in environmental and oenogastronomic field….

Our engagement is in general an approaching to a diversified public  to  art and culture and  to the

Baroque art particularly .

Individual curiosity and  interest  are the origin of every project and the cue to  enrich the existing proposals and to create others.

We propose as consultants for  planning, management and organization of didactic, artistic and cultural itineraries, trips and guided tours in shows and museums, organization of cultural exchanges, stages training, twining, Comenius projects for Italian and foreign schools  involving the suppliers and the best professional figures.
